Welcome to the Server Aurora documentation! This guide will help you get started with accessing the server’s media library, requesting new content, and managing your account.
1. Create a Plex Account
To access the server’s media library, you need a Plex account. If you don’t have one yet, please visit Plex.tv and create a free account.
2. Request Access to the Library
After you’ve created your Plex account, request access to the server’s media library by sending a text message to the server’s phone number:
Example message:
add user JohnDoe
Replace JohnDoe with your Plex username. The server admin will process your request and grant you access.
3. Request Movies and Shows
Once you have access, you can request new movies and shows to be added to the server. Visit:
request.serveraurora.comLog in using your Plex account to search for titles and submit requests. The admin will review and add approved requests to the library.
4. SMS Commands
- add user [username] — Adds a new user to the server.
- remove user [username] — Removes a user from the server.
- status — Checks the current server status.
5. Opt-In and Privacy
To use these SMS commands, users must opt-in by sending a text message to the server’s phone number. By texting, users agree to receive responses to their requests and occasional service notifications. Users can opt-out at any time by replying STOP.
